This oval snuff box was crafted around 1775/80 by the German goldsmith Johann Christian Neuber in Dresden, Germany. It measures 4.2 × 8.6 × 6.4 cm (1 5/8 × 3 3/8 × 2 1/2 in.) and is fabricated from gold, hardstone, enamel, copper, glass, and pearls.
