This collectible original lithograph on paper by Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) is a iconic commercial advertisement created for the Paris-Lyon-Mediterranean (PLM) Railway to promote tourism to the Monte Carlo region.

The poster features a striking Art Nouveau composition centered on a pale female figure gazing upwards with her hands held to her face, set against a background depicting the blue sea, mountain coastline, and the distinct towers of the Monte-Carlo Casino. The figure is framed by a signature Mucha design consisting of elaborate, curved botanical patterns of lilac, hydrangea, dianthus, and violet. The poster measures 30 by 43 5/8 inches, with overall framed dimensions of 33 1/4 by 47 5/8 inches.

It includes the artist's signature and date in the lower-left corner, with publisher information for 'La Plume' and printer details for Imp. F. Champenois in Paris at the bottom margin. The paper retains its original folded state with both vertical and horizontal fold lines.
