Poster: "Nai hämmer gsait! is held by Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe (Germany), attributed to Hubert Hoffmann. Description supplied by the holding institution: The poster features at its center the motif of a nuclear power plant crossed out in red and the slogan "Nai hämmer gsait!
Kein Atomkraftwerk in Wyhl und Anderswo" [No we have said! No nuclear power plant in Wyhl and elsewhere]. The protest in Wyhl was accompanied by demonstrations against the Swiss nuclear power plant Kaiseraugst and the Alsatian chemical plant in Marckolsheim. The planned internationality was expressed in the dialectal, Alemannic slogan "Nai hämmer gsait!", which is understood in all three regions. Beyond Wyhl, this became a protest symbol for cross-border opposition to nuclear power.
