Pocket camera Kodak Instamatic 192 is held by Roscheider Hof Open Air Museum. Museum description: Kodak launched the Instamatic as early as 1963, and with it the 110 film cartridge system. This made changing films as easy as can be imagined. Camera open, cartridge in, camera closed, cock, photograph, cock, camera open and remove cartridge. Over time, cameras became smaller and smaller. The Instamatic 192 dates from 1975. The 126 cartridges were also adopted by other manufacturers until Kodak ceased production in 1999. The camera has only two settings, a sun and a cloud; on the top there is a connection for flashcubes. It is in good condition. Funded as part of Neustart Kultur 2021. The museum record gives measurements L: 114 mm W: 50 mm H: 25 mm. These details come from the holding museum's own record; how far this object represents a wider collectible type has not yet been independently verified.
