Viewfinder camera Agfa Optima Ia is held by Roscheider Hof Open Air Museum. Museum description: A high-grade viewfinder camera for 24x36 mm 35mm film. On this, the Agfa Museum-Scholz states: "The Optima 1a features an optical bright-line frame viewfinder with parallax marks in the viewfinder, a distance setting ring with symbols on the front lens element, and the aperture ring with a separate scale for B mode or flash synchronization. The frame counter is mounted on the side. Compared to the Optima I from 1961, the Optima 1a has an accessory shoe and a different shutter release. Film sensitivity setting is only possible up to 200 ASA. Film advance is handled by a small lever." The year of manufacture is 1962. The body is corroded, the interior is clean, only the case has suffered somewhat. The museum record gives measurements L: 137 mm B: 90 mm H: 95 mm. These details come from the holding museum's own record; how far this object represents a wider collectible type has not yet been independently verified.
