Cigarette brand Orienta - advertising poster is held by Roscheider Hof Open Air Museum. Museum description: In 1931, the Haus Bergmann cigarette factory, and thus also the Orienta brand, was acquired by the British American Tobacco Company (BAT). After the war, the brand was reintroduced in West Germany in 1950. Our object dates from this period, an advertising poster promoting the Orienta brand. A pure oriental cigarette, filterless in a round format. Furthermore, the poster indicates the retail price of 8 1/3 Pfennig per cigarette. The reverse of the poster is pasted with several layers of old wallpaper. The museum record gives measurements length: 300 mm, height: 450 mm. These details come from the holding museum's own record; how far this object represents a wider collectible type has not yet been independently verified.
