This antique silver Turnose-Groschen coin, minted in the city of Frankfurt am Main around 1512, is a historical example of German coinage. The coin has a diameter of 24 mm and a weight of 2.80 grams.

The obverse and reverse designs feature intricate relief work typical of the period. The inscriptions include the Latin text 'Sit Nome Dni Benedict' and 'Turon Franc', as well as the phrase 'Moneta Nova'. The central design element incorporates a cross, while the heraldic motifs include the Frankfurt eagle adorned with a crown, framed by a lily-shaped border. The coin displays a well-preserved striking, despite the presence of fine surface scratches consistent with its age and circulation.

As a silver specimen from the early 16th century, it serves as an example of the monetary practices of the Frankfurt region during the transition between the medieval and early modern periods.
