Lead, Ø 3 cm, recto w. text "Spel/ lemae/ kers/ 1778 D.E.", verso w. text "S/ Anto/ nius/ Blecksl/ aegers". De speldemakers en blikslagers gaven samen deze gildepenning uit waarop hun patroon Sint-Antonius is vermeld.
Op het patroonsfeest der nering bedacht men de behoeftige leden met een uitdeling van wittebrood. Daags nadien werd voor de overleden leden een mis gelezen, welke door alle leden, op straf van een boete van 12 grooten, verplicht moest bijgewoond worden. Bovenstaande penning was dienstig ter controle van deze aanwezigheid." (Website Stadsmuseum Gent).
