The Standard Catalog of World Paper Money lists the type as Pick 146. Numista identifies the design as “Ruhollah Khomeini”.

Obverse: Deep blue-green, blue and olive-green on multicolor underprint. Portrait of Khomeini at right. Its lettering reads “بانک مرکزی جمهوری اسلامی ایران / ‎ده هزار ریال”. Translation given in the catalogue: “Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ten Thousand Rials”. Reverse: Deep blue-green, blue and olive-green on multicolor underprint. Mount Damavand at center right. Its lettering reads “CENTRAL BANK OF / THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN / TEN THOUSANDS RIALS / 10000”.
