Its lettering reads “DIVDESMIT LATU / LATVIJAS BANKAS NAUDAS ZĪME”. Translation given in the catalogue: “Twenty Lats Banknote of the Bank of Latvia”. The note was printed by Giesecke+Devrient (Giesecke & Devrient), Leipzig, Germany (1852-date). Design is credited to Imants Žodžiks and Valdis Ošiņš. Demonetized: 14 January 2014.
