The barrel features vibrant shades of yellow and orange reminiscent of the sun-drenched landscapes of Southern France, while the cap is fully crafted from precious wood.

The platinum-coated clip, shaped like a traditional Japanese wood carving knife, features a pipe-bowl design filled with yellow precious resin at its top. The barrel ring is highlighted by bright orange lacquer, engraved with the artist's signature and the date "1888" to commemorate his relocation to Arles. Handcrafted 18K (750°/00) rhodium-coated gold nib engraved with a sunflower motif.
