This is an 18 ct. thin gold open-face lady's pocket watch accompanied by a key. The case is engraved and fitted with a gilt dome and bow. A black ribbon holding the winding key is attached to the engraved bow.
The watch features an engraved gilt dial with painted figures, blue hands, and a flush seconds dial. It is powered by a keywound cylinder bar movement. The piece is held in the History collection at the Auckland Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira.
