The 1901 Vacheron Constantin repeater pocket watch is a triple complication timepiece manufactured by the Swiss horological firm Vacheron & Constantin. Originating in Geneva, where the business was founded by Jean-Marc Vacheron in 1755, the manufacture has operated continuously since its establishment. Following an official renaming to Vacheron & Constantin, Fabricants, Geneve in 1877 and its reorganisation as a joint-stock enterprise in 1887, the company produced highly complicated pocket timepieces.

Produced in 1901, this piece dates from the era preceding the opening of the manufacturer's first Geneva boutique in 1906. The maker's heritage of complex mechanism production expanded significantly after François Constantin joined Jacques-Barthélemy Vacheron in 1819 under the guiding motto to do better if possible. The firm had also established its Maltese cross emblem in 1880, inspired by a tension-limiting mainspring barrel component. An example of the 1901 model is preserved within the Patrimoine V.C. collection.

The watch is distinguished by its pink gold case and its combination of three major horological complications: a minute repeater, a simple chronograph, and a perpetual calendar. Classified as a repeater and chronograph case type with a calendar calibre, the timepiece features a striking minute repeater mechanism alongside chronograph functionality. The calendar works include a 48-month dial, providing an extended perpetual cycle indication integrated into the overall dial layout.
