Translation given in the catalogue: “National Bank of Ukraine, History of Ukraine, Mykhailo Hrushevskyi, Fifty Hryven”.
Reverse: The Central Council building was constructed in 1912 to a design by the famous Kyiv architect Pavlo Alioshyn. In this building, the Central Council, the first national government of Ukraine, adopted its landmark universals. Its lettering reads “НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ / П'ЯТДЕСЯТ ГРИВЕНЬ / 50 / БУДИНОК УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ЦЕНТРАЛЬНОЇ РАДИ / 2004”. Translation given in the catalogue: “Fifty Hryven, National Bank of Ukraine, The Building of the Ukrainian Central Council”.
