Historical context

This banknote was ordered so bank could have them available when opening to public and start their operations, on October 1st., 1896, cause the notes ordered to Gesiecke & Devrient would not reach on time. On 1897 appeared very good falsifications, so bank decided to gradually take them from circulation, to avoid negative impact on people trust. Recovered notes were burnt, so it became scarce, only 327 notes kept out of bank domain. No variants detected, highest number known is 092,360; much lower than the total printed. Is possible most of notes never circulated.
