This object comprises a set of village church commemorative postage stamps made of paper. Designed by Ronald Maddox and distributed by the General Post Office, the stamps were produced in the United Kingdom around 1972.

The set consists of five rectangular, perforated stamps, each illustrated with an architectural rendering of a historic church building set against a distinct solid colour background. The individual designs feature different church structures drawn in black and white detail, accompanied by denomination markings in the upper left corners and a profile silhouette in the upper right. Location names appear along the lower edge of each stamp.
