Poster in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (museum number E.2385-1991), made in Romania, dated 1990. The museum's brief description reads: Poster for the Partidul Național Liberal (PNL), or the National Liberal Party of Romania, 1990.

Museum description: This poster was designed for the National Liberal Party campaign for the Romanian elections on the 20th of May 1990 - the first democratic elections in Romania after the overthrow of communism in 1989. The National Liberal Party is a longstanding Romanian political party founded in 1864. Its activity was suspended during the communist leadership in Romania and the party was re-established at the beginning of 1990.

During the 1990 elections, no electoral threshold was set and, under these circumstances, 27 political parties gained seats in Parliament. The headline of the poster, 'Liberty. Prosperity. Wellbeing', indicates the aspirations of a society carrying the scars of 50 years of social and political adversity under communist rule. The arrow represents the logo and electoral sign of the National Liberal Party. The museum records it as Colour lithograph printed on paper, measuring Height 26.5 cm; Width 40 cm.

These details come from the museum's own record; how far this object represents a wider collectible type has not yet been independently verified.
