"Victory To The Freedom Fighters of Southern Africa" is a political poster designed by Rachael Romero and published by the San Francisco Poster Brigade in the United States in 1977. Created using ink on paper, the work combines screen printing and linocut techniques. It measures 57.2 cm in height by 44.7 cm in width.
The poster depicts three African freedom fighters—two Black women and a man—rendered with bold, chiseled lines in black and white linocut. They are placed in the lower half of the composition, with patterned clothing visible at the base. Above the figures, the slogan "VICTORY TO THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS OF SOUTHERN AFRICA" is prominently displayed across the top in large, stylized lettering. The entire scene is set against a background featuring a screenprinted colour gradation transitioning from red at the top to yellow below, bordered by an irregular dark framing line on the light paper ground.

Historical context
The poster was created during 1977, a period marked by heavy fighting in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) between Black freedom fighters and the white minority government. That same year, journalist Donald Woods published his book 'Biko', named for Black activist Steve Biko, who died in police custody in September 1977, drawing worldwide attention to atrocities in South Africa.
