Obverse: Brown with tan border. Toughra and Arms at top left and right. Validation handstamp (purple color). Reverse: Green print. French text at left and Persian text at right; with handstamps (one having the date). Its lettering reads “Sur presentation / de ce billet / la Trésorerie / patera au Porteur / la somme de / 10 afghanis”. Translation given in the catalogue: “On presentation of this note the Treasury will pay to the Bearer the sum of 5 afghanis”.
