This jewelry ornament consists of two circular ornamental button elements joined by multiple parallel lengths of linked chain. Originating in Hungary between 1811 and 1916, the piece is fashioned from metal and enamel, measuring an average of 45.1 cm (17 3/4 inches) in length.

Each rounded button element features an intricate, swirling rosette pattern with openwork or dark enamel detailing and is densely set with small, light turquoise-colored stones or cabochons.
