This object is an ornate decorative button originating from Hungary. It was produced between 1811 and 1916 and is classified under jewelry as well as decorative art and design.

The button has a circular composition measuring 2 cm (13/16 in.) in diameter. It is crafted from metal and enamel, featuring an intricate openwork structure composed of swirling, filigree-like metal scrolls and loops radiating outward. Set throughout this layered metallic framework are numerous rounded, cabochon-like turquoise-colored enamel elements held in raised metal collets, creating a richly textured and multidimensional cluster pattern.
