Obverse: Laureate head of Zeus, left. Reverse: Head of Demeter, left, wearing circular earrings and necklace; corn ears in hair. Legend: ΣΗΣΑ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 3.28 g (mean of 3 recorded specimens) and a diameter of 15–16 mm (from 3 recorded specimens). The corpus assigns the type to the Chian weight standard.
