Medal "Maritime Virtue" (for seafarers), 1st class is held by King Ferdinand I National Military Museum. Museum description: obverse: Circular medal, with slightly undulating edges and surmounted by a small royal crown, to which a movable ring is attached, through which the ribbon passes.
On the obverse, several symbolic elements are stamped in relief: sailboat on rough waves, within which are depicted, at the stern, a standing figure with one arm raised, alongside a nimbate sleeping figure symbolizing Jesus Christ; obverse: at the bow, a male figure is depicted with raised arms, clad in a hooded cloak; obverse: in the lower central register, within a circle with a hatched surface, crowned is the cipher of King Michael I; exergue: reverse exergue-circular chain; reverse: On the reverse is stamped in relief a vertically positioned anchor, over which, in the upper part, overlaps a sash stamped in capital letters with the inscription, PENTRU MARINĂ.
