This set of three commemorative medals was issued to mark the 1997 opening of the new Patek Philippe manufactory in Plan-les-Ouates. The collection is housed within a special fitted leather presentation case.

The set includes three distinct medals, each crafted from a different material: one in 18K gold, one in 0.925 sterling silver, and one in bronze. Each circular medal measures 40.25 mm in diameter with a thickness of 4 mm. They are signed twice by the maker. The obverse of each medal features an engraving of the new manufactory building along with the inscriptions "Patek Philippe & Cie 1839" and "Patek Philippe Geneve".

The reverse side is engraved with a commemorative message from Henry Stern and Philippe Stern addressed to their friends on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Patek Philippe facility in 1997.
