Table clock of gilded copper and bronze. The square, concave-conical pedestal rests on a plinth with gadrooning, supported by four winged claw feet. In the centre of the pedestal, decorated with repoussé ornament, stands the clock case in the shape of a tower on a plain plinth.

It is fitted with dials on two sides. The other two sides have arched recesses. At the corners of the tower are Tuscan columns on pedestals. Along the top of the tower runs a balustrade with obelisks on pedestals at the corners. On top of the clock case is a circular arcade gallery, crowned by an onion dome on which stands a warrior with a trumpet. Inside the arcade gallery is a bouquet. The front dial shows chapter rings for the hours, days, and months.

At the top of the dial is an aperture for the external pendulum. The back dial shows two chapter rings. The front dial is engraved with a saint with a sword before his chest, standing among seven burning candles. The back dial is engraved with the Sacrifice of Abraham. The plates on the sides are engraved respectively with a river god and a naked, dead boy with an hourglass beside him and the inscription: MORS OMNIA AT QUAT.

The movement is signed on the alarm mechanism: Reichard Ledertß // in Strasburg. The movement; going train, quarter striking, hour striking, and alarm. Both strike trains are connected back-to-back with the going train. The escapement has been replaced. On the front dial: minute ring, hour indication I-XII, hour and minute hand and alarm disc; lower left: a moon disc with moon phase and lunar age indication; lower right: a day disc with depictions of the corresponding planets.

On the back dial: discs for both striking trains.
