This small monstrance clock, dating to 1600–1625 and associated with maker J. Wolf in Vienna, Austria (or South Germany), is crafted from gilt brass, rock crystal, and silver with engraved decoration. Measuring 19.4 cm in height and 8.3 cm in width, it is supported on an octagonal molded base resting on four turned iron feet. The base contains a striking movement encased in a watch-type case beneath eight sloping rock-crystal panels, with a bell strapped below it.

A turned brass stem encased in baluster-shaped rock crystal rises to support an octagonal escalloped vertical drum-shaped case housing the going train. The drum features rock-crystal sides, a hinged rear door of rock crystal with a brass bezel, and flanking pierced scrolls with female busts topped by a small globe. The front dial incorporates an outermost silver ring engraved with months and day counts, a narrow brass hour ring with Roman numerals I to XII, and an inner silver disc engraved with a central landscape and numbered 1 to 30 for the day of the month, alongside apertures revealing the moon's age and phase. Pierced brass hands indicate the hour and date. The internal going train features brass wheels, iron motion-work wheels, a fusee, verge escapement, and a punched inscription reading "ANNO 1609 WIENN".
