This collection of British Girl Guide insignia from 1961 comprises fabric badges, metal pins, and a uniform ribbon. The group includes a cut-to-shape Guide's 'Wings' badge measuring 1.9 by 6.4 cm, embroidered in satin stitch on black fabric with outspread wings in white, red, and green, which was awarded upon advancing from Brownies. A rectangular Kent county badge of royal blue fabric (3.8 by 3.2 cm) is woven with the Kent white horse device above a scroll displaying "INVICTA" and "KENT". A circular patrol badge for the Primrose Patrol (5 cm in diameter) features a spray of primroses and leaves in yellow and green within a dark red border on black fabric.

The set also features two trefoil 'Promise' badges crafted from bronze alloy, measuring 2.2 by 2.1 cm each. These metal badges fasten with closed pins and show cut-out five-pointed stars along with the initials 'G G' across the lobes, positioned over a lower scroll bearing the words 'GIRL GUIDES'. Completing the assembly is a 14.9 cm shoulder knot made from two lengths of yellow cotton herringbone tape folded together and stapled.

Produced in the United Kingdom in 1961, these insignia components utilize embroidered cloth, woven textiles, and cast or stamped bronze alloy.
