This object is a printed paper postcard created to promote the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. Originating from South Korea and produced between 1980 and 1988, the card measures 14 cm in height and 9.5 cm in width. It forms part of a twelve-piece set of Olympic postcards from the 1980s.

The vertical composition features a rotational two-way symmetry, similar to a playing card design. The illustration highlights the character "회 (hoe)," depicted as a stylized orange cartoon tiger wearing a traditional hat, performing a gymnastics balancing routine atop a beam while twirling a blue ribbon. The identical mirrored motif appears inverted on the lower half of the card, framed by typographic marks and emblem symbols positioned in opposite corners.
