This object is a bound volume of 'The Apocrypha: reprinted according to the Authorised Version', featuring a fine binding executed by Sybil Pye. The book was bound in 1934 in black goatskin adorned with inlaid orange leather that forms a complex, symmetrical abstract design. The leather surface is extensively decorated with gold tooling consisting of straight lines, squares, small lozenges, dots, and motifs representing ears of wheat. The board edges carry a double gilt fillet, and the inner turn-ins are decorated with fillets and small tools, along with Pye's monogram 'SP' and the date on the lower turn-in.

The volume measures 310 mm in height and has an ornamented spine with five raised bands, upon which the title and date are stamped in gold. Inside, the text was published in 1924 by the Nonesuch Press in London and the Dial Press in New York, printed at Oxford University Press by Frederick Hall. The volume includes three engravings designed and engraved by Stephen Gooden, with typography arranged by Francis Meynell. According to the colophon, this copy is number 900 of an edition printed on japon vellum.
