Middle denomination (Bronze) struck at Alopekonnesos in Thrace, dated c. 400–300 BC. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 12697 (period: Classical Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Head of (youthful) Dionysus/of a maenad, right, wearing ivy wreath. Reverse: Cantharus. Legend: ΑΛΩ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 3.39 g (mean of 4 recorded specimens) and a diameter of 17–18 mm (from 2 recorded specimens).
