Medallion in bronze struck at Bizye in Thrace under Philippus Arabs, dated AD 244–249. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 1554 (period: Roman Imperial Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Laureate bust of Philip the Arab, right, wearing cuirass and paludamentum. Legend: ΑVΤ Μ ΙΟVΛ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟϹ ΑVΓ. Reverse: Asclepius, Hygieia and female figure; to left, Hygieia enthroned right; behind her Telesphorus; to right, Asclepius enthroned left, holding patera and serpent-staff; in front of him female figure holding patera in right hand; in the background, temple. Legend: ΒΙΖVΗΝΩΝ. Measured specimens give a diameter of 38 mm (from 1 recorded specimen).
