This German emergency money, or Notgeld, was issued in 1923 by Golsman & Co. in Werdohl during the period of hyperinflation. Struck in aluminum, this large disc measures 98 mm in diameter and weighs 99 grams.

The obverse depicts a naked male figure, representing liberated labor, sitting on an anvil while breaking chains with a hammer, inscribed with the phrase 'WERDOHL · SAKE · KORTEN · MACHEN' and dated 1923. The reverse features a highly technical and industrial design with a series of horizontal text panels detailing material specifications, including its aluminum composition (98/99% Hüttenaluminium), its physical dimensions (98.4 mm diameter and 4.9 mm height), and its denomination of 0.20 Goldmark.

It is signed by the manufacturer, Golsman & Co., and bears the location of origin, Werdohl. This piece exemplifies the creative and sometimes experimental nature of emergency coinage produced by private firms during the German economic crisis of the early 1920s.
