Obverse: Laureate and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus, right, seen from behind. Legend: ΑVΡ ϹЄΠ ϹЄΟVΗΡΟϹ Π. Reverse: Armoured Hector with spear standing right, his left foot on the nude corpse of Patroclus, which is laying on its back. Legend: ЄΚΤΩΡ ΙΛΙЄΩΝ ΠΑΤΡΟΚΛΟϹ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 15.01 g (from 1 recorded specimen) and a diameter of 27–35.7 mm (from 2 recorded specimens).
