Obverse: Bare-headed and draped bust of Commodus, right. Legend: Λ ΑV ΚΟΜΟΔΟϹ ΚΑΙ ΓЄΡ ϹЄΒ. Reverse: Cult image of Athena Ilias on a pedestal, right; before her, the emperor on a low pedestal, left, raising his right hand; behind him Nike on a pedestal, left, crowning the emperor. Legend: ΙΛΙЄΩΝ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 14.18 g (from 1 recorded specimen) and a diameter of 29–29.8 mm (from 2 recorded specimens).
