Sestertius in bronze struck at Ilion in Troas under Commodus, dated c. AD 180–182. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 20350 (period: Roman Imperial Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Laureate bust of bearded Commodus, right, wearing cuirass and paludamentum. Legend: ΑV ΚΑΙ Μ ΑVΡΗ ΚΟΜΟΔΟϹ. Reverse: Armoured Hector standing in a quadriga, right, holding a spear and shield in his right hand and Nike in his outstretched left. Legend: ЄΚΤΩΡ ΙΛΙЄΩΝ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 24.79 g (mean of 2 recorded specimens) and a diameter of 36–37 mm (from 2 recorded specimens).
