Coin in bronze struck at Larissa in Troas, dated 4th century BC. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 21485 (period: Classical/Hellenistic Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Bearded male head, right. Reverse: Amphora. Legend: ΛΑΡΙΣΑΙ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 8.73 g (mean of 2 recorded specimens) and a diameter of 21–22 mm (from 2 recorded specimens). Historical context

Larissa was an ancient Greek city located in the south-west of the Troad region of Anatolia, with surrounding territory known in Greek as the Larissaia. Its archaeological remains occupy a coastal rise now known as Limantepe, situated roughly 3.5 km from the village of Kösedere and 3 km from Babadere in the Ayvacık district of modern Çanakkale province, Turkey. Ancient literary sources recorded its name with both single and double consonants.
