Record status

Individual type · partial

This I. Bekler tobacco pipe is crafted from block meerschaum in a traditional bent billiard shape. The bowl features intricate, all-over hand-carved detailing showcasing a basket-weave lattice pattern.

Complementing the bowl, the shank is adorned with longitudinal fluting, which is accented on either side by two bands of braided rope-style carving. The pipe is fitted with a translucent orange marbled acrylic stem. Included with the pipe is its original hardshell presentation case, which is finished in blue velvet with a yellow satin-style interior lining. The shank of the pipe is marked with the maker's signature, I.

Bekler, and the case lid bears a diamond-shaped logo containing the letters CAD and the name I. Bekler. Additionally, a metal tag inside the presentation box identifies the material as block meerschaum made in Turkey. The overall dimensions of the case are approximately 3 inches by 8 inches by 4 inches. This piece is presented in unused condition.
