Hadrianotherae was a town in ancient Mysia situated along the road between Ergasteria and Miletopolis. It was founded by the Roman emperor Hadrian, who ruled from AD 117 to 138, to commemorate a successful hunt he had undertaken in the surrounding area. The town produced civic coinage from Hadrian's reign onwards, often reflecting this imperial connection and the event behind its establishment.
