Coin in bronze struck at Gambrion in Mysia, dated c. 350–300 BC. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 19754 (period: Classical/Hellenistic Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo, left. Reverse: Butting bull, left; above, star. Legend: ΓΑΜ. Historical context

Gambrion, also known as Gambrium, was an ancient town in Mysia and Aeolis located near Pergamum in the Kaikos valley of Asia Minor. Mysia was situated in the northwest of ancient Asia Minor along the south coast of the Sea of Marmara. Gambrium is noted in Xenophon's Hellenica, which records that the city was ruled by Gorgion, son of Gongylos, in 399 BCE, shortly before this civic bronze issue was struck between c. 350 and 300 BC.
