Drachm in silver struck at Prokonnesos in Mysia, dated c. 360–340 BC. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 20516 (period: Classical Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Female head with laurel wreath, right. Legend: ΑΝΑΞΙΓΕΝΗΣ. Reverse: Forepart of stag reclining right; head turned back. Legend: ΠΡΟΚΟΝ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 3.5 g (mean of 5 recorded specimens) and a diameter of 15–15.5 mm (from 4 recorded specimens). The corpus assigns the type to the Chian weight standard. Historical context

Mysia was an ancient region situated in northwestern Asia Minor along the south coast of the Sea of Marmara, bounded by Bithynia, Phrygia, Lydia, Aeolis, the Troad, and the Propontis. It was inhabited by Mysians, Phrygians, and Aeolian Greeks, among other groups. This silver drachm was struck during the Classical Period, dated c. 360–340 BC, by the city of Prokonnesos, located on an island in this northern maritime sphere.
