Tetradrachm in silver struck at Prokonnesos in Mysia, dated c. 360–340 BC. Corpus Nummorum, the online type corpus of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, records it as CN type 20519 (period: Classical Period; issuing authority type: city).

Obverse: Female head with laurel wreath, right. Legend: ΑΠΟΛΛΟΘΕΜΙΣ. Reverse: Stag reclining right; head turned back. Legend: ΠΡΟΚΟΝ. Measured specimens give a mean weight of 14.82 g (from 1 recorded specimen) and a diameter of 24 mm (from 1 recorded specimen). The corpus assigns the type to the Chian weight standard. Historical context

Originating in Ancient Greece in the late 6th century BC as a piece nominally equivalent to four drachmae, the tetradrachm effectively became the standard trade coin of Classical Antiquity. Minted in many weight standards, large silver coins of this denomination were produced by various polities for state expenses. This coin was struck by the city of Prokonnesos in Mysia, a region located on the south coast of the Sea of Marmara in ancient Asia Minor.
