- New fields are opened only when reliable references exist to build them from. Coverage grows record by record rather than by bulk-importing unverified lists.
- Can I suggest a new collecting field?
- Yes. Submissions enter a pending review queue, are checked against their cited sources by a specialist reviewer, and are never published automatically.
- What counts as an acceptable source?
- Sources are ranked by tier: museums, archives, central banks and mints first, then standard printed references, then specialist literature, then community material. Commercial listings are supplementary only.
